After evolution HUSNOW become much more loyal and now follow all orders. Wild HOWULF, however, only trust human and POKEMON who prove themselves to them. They are extremely powerful and graceful runners, and because of this many people go south in the winter to watch them in the wild.

It is said the howl of this POKEMON is so powerful it can summon snowstorms. Native peoples believe that they are reincarnated spirits of their ancestors, come back to protect there families. Bones have been discovered of ancient HOWULF that date back to the Ice Age, making them one of the oldest surviving POKEMON still in existance.
