I was lucky enough to find some real quicksand on my kayaking adventure this past week. Enjoy a little comic strip and story to go along with the pics 😈
(He gets saved at the end, this is NOT hardcore peril)
Aaron should be more careful while he’s out kayaking alone. When he stopped at an embankment underneath a bridge to take a leak he found himself stuck in a sticky situation.
at first, the brown goop looked like solid ground, after getting out of his kayak his feet sank into the soft earth, but it was nothing he couldn’t manage.
the further he walked, the deeper he seemed to sink… until he was no longer within arms reach of his kayak, where he conveniently left his phone sealed tight in a water-proof boating bag.
*squelch!*
*schlurp!*
the muck made some very interesting noises as Aaron sank down to his waist. “This mud is deeper than I thought it would be…” Aaron muttered to himself. He attempted to pull his arm up from the mud but the suction wouldn’t let him free it.
“huff! it’s super sticky too! I hope this isn’t quicksand” he begins to panic, struggling harder and harder but this only causes him to sink deeper into the foley brown mud.
Aaron has now sunk down to his chest, in a frantic struggle he squirms and wriggles to no avail. the much surrounding him jiggled like jello everytime he struggled, and it pulled him deeper and deeper with each movement.
“umph! I still can’t… feel the bottom… HELP!” Aaron calls out for help but none will arrive for him.
the quicksand has overtaken his shoulders now and this has whipped Aaron into a frenzy. Tears sting his eyes and roll down his cheeks as his mouth is sucked under the earth. He gulps in a big mouthful of much before coughing and spitting it out. He craned his neck towards the sky in order to keep breathing just a moment longer…
*squelch!*
*slurp!*
*blub-blub*
*blub*
Aaron was sucked under completely, the mud enveloped his face and encased him beneath the brown goo. He continued to struggle while holding his breath beneath the surface.
off in the bushes, a kinky on-looker watched the entire thing. He’s going to let Aaron struggle just a moment longer before pulling his head back up, but his show has only just begun now that he has Aaron completely trapped and helpless in his quicksand pit.
