Fan Art Friday: Scooby Doo by Pascua-Tanya, journal
Fan Art Friday: Scooby Doo
Welcome to another Fan Art Friday! Today we're celebrating the most beloved Great Dane in animated television, Scooby-Doo. This year marks 15 years since the premiere of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated (April 5, 2010), and 56 years since the franchise began in the late 1960s .
Scooby-Doo was created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, animators who co-founded Hanna-Barbera Productions, the animation studio responsible for creating highly popular cartoons such as Tom and Jerry, The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and, of course, Scooby-Doo. The first series (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!) premiered on September 13, 1969, on CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System). It was the result of plans by CBS and Hanna-Barbera to create a non-violent Saturday morning show that would appease the parent watch groups that had protested the superhero-based programs of the mid-1960s.
The plot follows Scooby-Doo (a Great Dane) and four teenagers, Fred Jones, Daphne Blake

Return
Blood is dripping off my fingers
The sweet smell of death lingers
Pushing corpses through the ringer
Vocal suicide of a dying singer
I ripped out my heart
Placing it in your bloodsoaked hands
I am entrusting you with my life
Banishing me to death
I am mute
Throw your stones at my flesh
Bash my head til brain's flow
I will hold your pain
After death, I've risen
Walking through the gates of my hellish prison
I'm the embodiment of all souls
Follow me, and I'll listen
Oh thy father, oh the mother
Mend my brittle and weakened spirit
Humans have crucified my many siblings
Place them before the guillotine, genocide
I remove my armor
I place my sword on the ground
Do you think you can kill me
Enemies burning all around my sides
I won't sleep
My resolve is imbued is darkness
My faith is drowned in light
Don't run from me little sheep
It's your turn to look into my eyes
Suffer and burn
Trip over your lies and die
I'm not going anywhere
Born and living by the words of suicide
